Tournament Rules
Eligibility
- All players must be registered and approved by tournament administrators
- Players must provide accurate information during registration
- Players must meet age and other eligibility criteria set by administrators
- Players must be from eligible villages as specified
Team Composition
- Each team must have a minimum of 11 players
- Maximum team size is typically 15 players (varies by tournament)
- Teams must have a designated captain
- Team rosters are finalized after auction completion
Tournament Format
- Tournament format is determined by administrators
- Schedule and fixtures are announced before tournament start
- All matches follow standard cricket rules unless otherwise specified
- Results and standings are updated regularly
Auction Rules
Auction Process
- Each player auction runs for a fixed duration (typically 5 minutes)
- Captains can place bids at any time during the auction
- Bids must be higher than the current highest bid
- Bids cannot exceed remaining team budget
- All bids are final and cannot be retracted
Timer System
Main Timer:
Fixed duration (typically 5 minutes)
Grace Period:
If a bid is placed in the last minute, timer extends by grace period (typically 1 minute)
Auto-Extension:
Timer extends automatically when new bids arrive during grace period
Completion:
Auction ends when timer reaches zero with no new bids
Budget Rules
- Each team starts with an equal budget (typically 1000 points)
- Budget is deducted immediately when a bid wins
- Teams cannot bid beyond their remaining budget
- Budget cannot be transferred between teams
- Unused budget does not carry forward
Player Locking Rules
- Captains can lock up to 3 players per team
- Locking can only be done after auction phase is complete
- Locking must be completed before the specified deadline
- Locked players cannot be removed or transferred
- Locking is permanent and cannot be undone
- Unlocked players may be subject to future transfers
Code of Conduct
All Participants Must:
- Respect all players, captains, administrators, and officials
- Maintain sportsmanship at all times
- Follow tournament rules and guidelines
- Provide accurate information during registration
- Accept auction results and team assignments
- Participate fairly and honestly
Prohibited Behavior:
- Cheating, collusion, or manipulation of auctions
- Harassment or inappropriate behavior
- Disrupting auctions or tournament proceedings
- Sharing login credentials
- Attempting to circumvent budget or bidding rules
Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes or rule violations:
- Contact tournament administrators immediately
- Provide clear documentation or evidence
- Administrators will review and make final decisions
- All decisions are final and binding
- Serious violations may result in disqualification
